This story has two parts.
Part I: This situation could have been avoided.
One young man looking at my car, informed me that my windshield wipers had been recalled last summer. This is an interesting fact because the WHOLE reason that the fuel pump doesn't work is because it sat all winter, because the windshield wipers broke and when I took it to the dealership they said it would cost more than $300 to fix it and I said "NO WAY! and walked out." Had they stopped me and said, "Ha ha, only kidding, here sit and drink a coke whilst we fix it for free because they have been recalled, a fact we have known for months, and you will be on your merry way able to drive the rest of the winter in safety." Alas and alak! Instead it sat and further began to deteriorate under my inability to keep it covered and safe and RUNNING!!! grrrrr.
Part II: The crazy man from cedar who desperately wanted a car.
So I sold it. Gone. The man I sold my car to drove up from Cedar City. . . crazy. His neighbor spoke to me and then to him, so that nothing was misunderstood. . . it was a pretty beat little nissan. This morning a man that spoke NO english (which is fine, his broken english and my school taught spanish worked just fine) FINALLY found me after I stayed on the phone with him and guided him here. . . one long and frustrating conversation. He seemed to turn left everytime I specifically said "a la DERECHA!!!" But he got there, we laughed really hard at the whole situation and he handed me the money as I passed him the keys.
Good riddens and adieu to my little street car, seriously shared some awful moments of my life, and there were times I wanted to beat you to death, and you died before I got to say goodbye. So if I had to say something nice about you, you got me where i needed to go most of the times and helped me meet some some people that really changed my life. So thank you.
