Labor Day Weekend

For Labor day weekend, Ben and I drove down to Cedar City to catch a show at the Shakespeare Festival, enjoy some nature and attend a surprise party for our friend Disco Dave. 

Saturday morning we drove up to Cedar Breaks, enjoyed a nature talk and then continued to drive around the rest of Cedar Breaks through Brian Head and back down to Cedar for a matinee performance of AMADEUS.

I had never seen the movie of Amadeus or really even know what the plot was like. It was stellar performance and a beautiful story of Mozart. Then we  hopped over to the Off The Cuff center where we helped set up a surprise party for Disco Dave. He was very much surprised and friends and family came from all over. Mary (his wife) did such a great job with the event.

The next morning we hiked the Kanaraville falls.It was such a beautiful hike. It is like a mini narrows where you hike in the river through the slot canyons. I wasn't feeling great as we hiking and there was one time that I puked off the side of the trail but we kept going. It was so much fun walking through the river and climbing up the different water falls.
