Love to me means that I care.
I feel love quickly towards people. The proof that I have the God loves me is because of the intense love I feel for complete strangers. I am way to logical to think that I have created those feelings on some basis of friendship or similarities. We don't know each other, so therefore... logically... this feeling that I have for you that wishes you well and hopes for your happiness and success cannot be mine. I believe it must be from a higher being, a force, Thor, Alah or Elohim. If there is that much love and success wished upon someone I don't know then it is probably also wished upon me. So I know know God loves me because I feel the love He has for you.
So, let yourself be loved.
