5 strangers and a miracle

Yesterday I got a phone call that a girl that I go to church with was in the hospital. She had previously gotten a heart transplant her body is now fully rejecting it, so much that they are balancing out medications to keep her heart pumping until she can get another transplant. She will need it soon though. She is also getting married in 3 weeks. I went with 4 other girls to visit her after church today. In asking what kind of treats we could bring her, we asked how her wedding plans were coming. She just looked defeated and her fiance sitting there just took a deep breathe... then she said, "I need help."
In the next 30 minutes we discovered that one of the girls I was with decorated wedding cakes for a living... so CHECK! One of the girls I was with arranged flowers... CHECK! One of the girls mother alters wedding dresses... CHECK! One of the girls just finished ordering her own wedding invitations and out of nowhere brought her USB port with her so she downloaded the invites off their laptop and is printing them tomorrow... CHECK! I am sewing brides maids skirts... CHECK! I am sewing table cloths... CHECK! We have collaborated on decor for the reception... CHECK! And we are going back wednesday to address envelopes and mail them all... CHECK! It was amazing, the fiance was breathing normally again, and she was smiling. As we left the room, 5 total strangers it felt amazing... we had only hoped to provide company to a lonely sister. Her family is in Minnesota, and she is here alone and getting married in 3 weeks, and hoping for a heart transplant with little and no money for a wedding with this surprise trip to the hospital.
It felt amazing to be able to be there, and to see all these hidden talents come out in such a humbling moment. Truly a little miracle for Angela and for all of us that get to help.
