Painting the town Red

Ariel had a new dance studio as she is teaching with Provo High School starting in the Fall. It is awesome, and as we helped her paint her new classroom I was so jealous of her having her own classroom!! The room was painted lavender and light green and looked awful. So we decided to make it brick and cement. And we spent all day painting, and this is how awesome it turned out!! The whole family came and we zipped right through it. I thought it would take alot longer than it did. We chalk lines the grey lines and painted the grey on top of the Red paint. And there was many of texturing that I used and taught everyone. Her room looks awesome. We added the Brick coming through (showing under) the cement at the end, and it is my favorite spot on her walls. It looks so cool. The last time I painted brick walls was for the set of MARISOL in college when I was the paint shop supervisor a semester. That was random, and something I forget about. But the set was all brick walls with tags on it. Hence where I learned to tag etc. Not in Jersey. :) Anyways I am proud of the paint job, and the family did great!
